Sometimes an event sneaks up on you. Here is how to get a great-looking suit in time, custom or otherwise.
Start with a fitting now
The single best move is to come in as soon as you know. The sooner we take your measurements and understand your event, the more options we can offer, and the more honest we can be about which of them your date allows.
When a rush is possible
Custom suits normally take a few weeks. Depending on our current schedule and your fabric choice, we can sometimes move faster. We will tell you honestly what is realistic for your date rather than promise something we cannot deliver.
When the date is only days away
If there is genuinely no time to make a garment, say so at the first call and we will tell you straight. For black tie, a tuxedo rental covers the night. For anything else, we would rather point you elsewhere for that one event and make you something properly for the next one than rush a suit that will not fit.
What to bring
Bring a dress shirt, the shoes you will wear, and your event date. That lets us measure accurately and recommend the fastest route to a suit that fits.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the fastest you can do a custom suit?
It depends on our schedule and your fabric. Come in early and we will tell you exactly what is possible for your date.
What if there is no time to make anything?
We will tell you honestly. For a black-tie event a tuxedo rental covers the date; otherwise we would rather make you something properly for the next occasion than rush this one.
My wedding is in two weeks. What now?
Come to us immediately. Two weeks is tight but not always impossible, and we will tell you honestly what your date allows.
