Do you make custom suits for women?
Yes, and it is a full part of what we do rather than an afterthought. Suits, tuxedos, separates, trousers, skirts and formalwear, all cut to your measurements.
Why is standard sizing so difficult for women's tailoring?
Because it is built around a small number of assumed proportions, and almost nobody matches them. The gap between waist and hip is usually where it breaks down, and it is exactly the thing a pattern cut from your own measurements handles without compromise.
Can I choose the same fabrics?
Yes. The same mills, the same range, the same weights. Nothing is restricted to one side of the fabric book.
What occasions do you make for?
Work and courtroom suits, black tie and gala dressing, weddings for brides and mothers and anyone in the party who would rather wear tailoring, and separates for everyday.
How does the fitting work?
The same way as everything else here. We come to you, at home or at your office, and the first appointment takes about an hour.
How long does it take?
Roughly four to six weeks from the fitting, plus a little time for adjustments. If you have an event, bring the date and we will work backwards from it.
